Dissemination

The major focus of the APSIS4all dissemination framework is to ensure that the project outcomes reach the appropriate target communities, at appropriate times, via appropriate methods.

The key dissemination targets for this project include, but are not restricted to, the following:

• End-users
• Professional and user organisations (e.g. disability groups, forums and associations of people with disabilities and older people)
• Research centres, universities and standardisation bodies
• Public body organisations (at European, national and regional levels)
• Industry organisations and service providers (primarily in the banking and transport sectors)
• Technological organisations (e.g. organisations that make tailor-made accessibility solutions for PDTs, PDT manufacturers, smartcard manufacturers, etc.)
• Future industry target organisations (e.g. tourism, entertainment, healthcare, government, etc.)

The involvement of end-users and professional and user organisations is, of course, essential, as their feedback is needed to ensure the development of the project in coherence with the chosen approach: user-centred innovation. APSIS4all expects to involve 3,000 citizens using the innovative features of the accessible, usable and personalised services during the first year of availability of the service in real-life environments (2013 - 2014).
